This policy explains how Blitz Creed Ltd ("Blitz Creed", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit www.blitzcreedgame.com (the "Site"), place an order, sign up to our emails or contact us.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Order details: name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, and what you ordered.
Payment confirmation: we receive confirmation that you paid. Your full card details go directly to our payment providers. We never see or store them.
Email sign-ups: your email address and your marketing preferences.
Messages: anything you send us through our contact form or by email.
Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, how you arrived on the Site and how you use it.
Cookies and similar technologies: see section 5.

3. How we use it, and why we are allowed to

4. Who we share it with

We only share what each provider needs to do their job. We do not sell your personal information.

Shopify: hosts our store, checkout and customer records.
Payment providers: Shopify Payments and PayPal process your payment.
Fulfilment and delivery partners: receive your name, address and order details to pack and deliver your order.
Omnisend: sends our marketing emails to people who have signed up.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the Meta pixel and Conversions API, used for advertising and measuring it. Only with your consent.
Google Analytics: website analytics. Only with your consent.
Microsoft Clarity: website analytics that shows how visitors use our pages, including anonymised session recordings. Clarity only sets cookies with your consent.
Professional advisers and authorities: accountants, legal advisers, or regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

Essential cookies: needed for the Site, basket and checkout to work. These are always on.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity): help us understand how the Site is used.
Marketing cookies (Meta pixel): help us show you relevant Blitz Creed content on Instagram and Facebook and measure our advertising.

In the UK, EU and Switzerland, analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Decline, they stay off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this Site in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Shopify's own cookies are listed at shopify.com/legal/cookies.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers, including Shopify, Meta, Google and Microsoft, process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and Addendum.

7. How long we keep it

Order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for UK tax purposes.
Marketing email list: until you unsubscribe. We then keep only what we need to make sure we do not email you again.
Customer support messages: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.
Analytics and advertising data: for the retention period set in each provider's tools.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

access the personal information we hold about you;
correct anything that is wrong;
ask us to delete your information;
restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to marketing at any time;
receive your information in a portable format;
withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email hello@blitzcreedgame.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, contact us first at hello@blitzcreedgame.com and we will try to put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. If you live in the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Blitz Creed is designed for players aged 12 and over, but our store and email list are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

11. Security

We use reputable providers with strong security, and limit access to personal information to people who need it. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will let customers know by email.
